About Us

The Southeast Asia Climate Adaptation and Resilience (SEACAR) Alliance is a partnership formed by Boston Consulting Group (BCG), Think City, and WWF-Malaysia in December 2023. Its goal is to enhance climate resilience in Southeast Asia by combining nature-based solutions (NbS), climate analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) across six key themes – water, agriculture, health, natural ecosystems, infrastructure and trade.

What We Do

Guided by our mission to raise awareness and strengthen collaboration, SEACAR advances climate adaptation and resilience across Southeast Asia by tapping into the region’s collective knowledge and experience. By bridging gaps across sectors, SEACAR contributes to more effective adaptation and resilience (A&R) action, focusing on five key areas:

Call for Solutions: Innovation Challenge

The SEACAR Alliance, in collaboration with the Global Resilience Partnership (GRP), has launched a call for proposals under the Innovation Challenge.

This marks an important milestone for the SEACAR Alliance in its growing collaboration with GRP to promote innovative solutions focusing on nature for climate adaptation and resilience in Southeast Asia.
